Review, by emu - P. Craig Russell did some stuff for Sandman, and I loved his art there. It's really lovely art... beautiful but simple, stylized and elegant. The story itself is an adaptation of an opera by Mozart (this book is in the P. Craig Russell Library of Opera Adaptations). I am not familliar with the original opera, so I can't comment on how accurate the adaptation is, but I did enjoy the story laid out in this book... though I found the lovers to be quite silly, and was a bit confused at the end. ^^;
